An ENIKŌ retreat is coming!
Who is it for?
For anyone who has been treating the surface for years and has begun to suspect the answer is somewhere else. For practitioners who would like to learn this work properly. And for anyone who is simply tired, and would like a few days that give something back.
Numbers will be small, deliberately.
A note from our founder
I have been carrying this for a long time.
In the clinic I have a window of an hour, sometimes two, and in that time I do what I can. I look at the skin, I look at the person, and almost always I find myself saying the same thing. We cannot only chase the symptom. The skin is not separate from the rest of you. And then the hour ends, and the person goes back out into the life that shaped the skin in the first place.
My vision for an ENIKŌ retreat is simply more time. Time to teach properly rather than in fragments. Time for the body to be somewhere quiet enough that it stops bracing. Time to eat real food slowly, to sleep without an alarm, to be outside in daylight, and to learn the practices with your own hands so that you carry them home.
I grew up in a village surrounded by herbs, seasons and a way of living that nobody had to explain. Much of what I teach now is my attempt to bring that together with what the research tells us. A retreat is where those two things can finally sit in the same room.
What the days will hold
Nothing here is a treatment, and nothing here is a promise about your health. This is education, self care and rest, given properly.
Facial and body self care, taught by hand. The Signature V Move, the four minute ritual, and the way to work with your own face and body with confidence rather than guesswork.
Fascia, breath and movement. Gentle, unhurried work with posture, breathing and the way the body holds itself, so that you understand what you are feeling and why.
Nervous system regulation. Practices for a system that has been running fast for a long time, and a plain explanation of what is happening underneath them.
Botanical skincare, from the plant. What is in a formula, why it is there, and how to read any label you pick up for the rest of your life.
Real food, real rest, real daylight. Not as decoration around the teaching, but as part of it.
Conversation. Small numbers, so that there is room for your own questions and your own story.
